::A cat girl with red hair in overalls and a plump woman in a beat up blouse and jacket with brown hair step out of a pick-up truck at the park with the Blood-Red Blossoms, crossing Sector Security's security tape, and start investigating.
Maybe you'd like to go talk to them.
The park in question should be close to the rail line from Duel Academy into Domino that students and staff there can easily visit at the same time in the evening as the two ladies::

::She yells out as you jog by.::

:Garrett stops near them.::
Since when do people exist here with horns and animal ears? Did I miss a memo?
no subject
I live here, Prof.
::Her tail flicks back and forth, she definitely seems to be of a half tiger-half human stock.::
Horns is a new one though. Do I have horns, Rek?

::The more heavy set young woman is marching around, taking pictures with a digital camera and a smartphone, of the 'festival platform'.::

Regardless, sorry! Still getting used to this whole... thing. Domino seems a lot... different than what I had expected it to be.
Oh, and sorry, I should introduce myself. Garrett Logan, Student Professor of Advanced Duel Theory at Duel Academy.
::Garrett reaches out to shake the hand of the older of the two women.::

::Walks over and shakes.::
Tachibana Rekka. Auld Lang Syne. DA Alum.
What happened in 1996 and what were ya expectin', Professor?
no subject
As for what I expected? Honestly, no idea. My life was weird enough before moving here, whats the addition of demi-humans going to change?
no subject
I think my prof at the time said that was Swamp Gas reflected off of a Weather Balloon due to light reflectin' off Venus... Wassa Demi-human?
no subject
Yeah, people seem iffy about whether or not it actually happened. People who were near the Atlantic coast definitely remember seeing something rise from the oceans, and newspapers that people kept from back then mention monster attacks. Scuttlebutt on the internet is rare though.

::Sticks out her tongue.::
no subject
Though, yeah, something like Atlantis sounds like something that'd be covered up, ya know?

::She turns to start snapping photos of the blossoms.::
Boss lady'll want pics of those.
no subject
And Nekozaki Kimera. My friends call me Kiki.
And heck if we know, Teach. Boss Lady sent us out here, hoping it be connected to The Yellow Sign.
Or was it the Golden Sign, Rek?
::Turning to her friends.::

::Turns back to Garrett.::
So you heard anything about the Yellow or Golden Sign, Teach?

:: Garrett bends down and picks up a fallen cherry blossom leaf.::
no subject
Nope, and we don't know 'er last name, feels like it changes every time she says it. We were sent out to feel out the place and see if it's 'ttached to The Sign.
no subject
How does something physically FEEL ominous? That's insane.
:Garrett drops it and dusts off his hands.:
no subject
The Yellow or Golden Sign.
's kind of important to the Boss as she thinks it'll stop Las Vegas from turning inta a giant block o' Jell-O.
Ya know anything 'bout it?

::Scribbles that down.::
Might need to find a way onto the island. Never thought we'd go back there...
What was the person's name, Teach?
